Greg currently leads the Uber cyber-threat intelligence team and developed the Uber global threat intelligence strategy. He supports multiple groups including legal, executive protection, incident response, third party risk and others. Greg developed and delivered a threat intelligence training program to extend threat intelligence capabilities across the enterprise.

Greg Reith began his career with U.S. Army Special Forces (Green Beret) with a specialty in Operations and Intelligence. Greg’s experience includes counter-intelligence, analysis, collection at both tactical and strategic levels. At the end of his career in the military, he transitioned into Information Technology and was the Information Systems Security Officer. Greg also served as an instructor for intelligence courses in the military. 

Previous to Uber, Greg led the threat intelligence team at T-Mobile where he also created the threat intelligence strategy and developed the program. While t T-Mobile he also trained employees from all departments on threat intelligence fundamentals and how to use intelligence for business decisions.

Working with Center for Threat Intelligence, Greg created a series of threat intelligence training courses. Greg is instrumental in the development of the Enterprise Threat Intelligence Assessment (ETIA) and the Certified Threat Intelligence Specialist (CTIS) Certification.  He continues to create on demand courses for Center for Threat Intelligence.
